Every time I have to read Hindi, I have to switch JAWS 9.
How can I make higher versions of jaws read Hindi, with basic JAWS 9 also on
the system but without invoking it?

please install NVDA as screen reader which is a free screen reader. you can
use it to read hindi and marathi. if the voice of e-speak synthiser doesnt
suite you then install lekha and configure it with NVDA. you will be able
to read all document prepared n unicode hindi.

Those PDFs are in the non Unicode characters. They need to be converted in
to Unicode first in order to read them.

windows 7 requires mirror display driver, hence, jaws11 and higher can be
installed on it.
