I can confirm every word of Zygfryd. My GX700 has absolutely the same behavior.
I also updated BIOS several times. Unfortunately there wasn't any influence to
the problem.

With custom DSDT actual_brightness is actual brightness. Entry brightness
shows correct value at startup, too.
Valid entrites for brightness are the same - 25,50,75 and 100.
