i tried to dump the acpi with acpidump. however i got this error:
acpi_os_map_memory: cannot open /dev/mem. the compiter was started with noapic,
as this is the only way to boo

I have a workaround that works for me, with x86_64 2.6.22-14-generic (Ubuntu

The computer does not crash anymore with 8573 patch.
However, I get "bad address" errors:
