Newer builds with the fix weren't published so far.

Did anyone manage to run devel PA on Nexus 7 recently? Making current
upgrades (using devel repos) always ends up in unusable system for me (PA
comes up, but UI is completely frozen and there are segfaults before it
loads).

I can do it on Nexus 7 (which has current devel image though it doesn't
load the UI anymore after the most recent update %). Is there any list of
formal tests, or it's do whatever comes to mind?

I'd like to test your e-book reader on Nexus 7 with Plasma Active.
However it needs armv7hl packages. Do you plan to build them? They
aren't available in your repo yet.
Also, do you plan to implement rotation in the reader itself? It's one
of the features that's strongly missing in the mobile okul
Peregrine - the project looks effectively dead. No activity for a long
time.
meego-app-im - same story. No activity for a long time.
Whatever Ubuntu are working on - I have no idea about that. They don't
embrace open development and therefore I don't think you need to rely on
them.

It was a few weeks ago - things could have improved since then. I'll try
reflashing with testing image and updating to devel again to see what
happens.

I did an over the network update after switching the repos from testing to
devel. The result however wasn't very functional. Many applications
segfault, and the whole thing is barely working.

There was a similar issue with switching Nexus 7 build from testing to
devel. See here in the comments:

Devel branch of Plasma Active on Nexus 7 is constantly crashing on many
actions if you switch you Mer repos to it. So it's better to wait until
it's more stabilized.
