Idan, Thanks for the tip. It is pretty difficult. I think I found my solution though, by mixing both GP and Opera. Opera has a great Kiosk Mode, the only thing I can't disable at all is the Ctrl+Alt+Del combo which then brings up task manager, but of those I do want to allow Log off and shutdow

Using the registry to pin down rpc to one port each for ad replication and frs is feasible but it is a pain. There may be performance and scalability issues as well. It would require configuration for each dc. I much rather like your idea of using dmz's as secure routing networks. --
