Since you're running WINS, are there any static WINS entries for the domain? (1C records) I used to have people who thought you needed them to fix stupid little problems that are simple misconfigurations... Use a Win2k or later WINS manager and do a search for registrations for the netBIOS name

2003 TS servers need 2003 license servers, however in 2003 a license server need not be on a DC. So you can fire up ts licensing on any 2k03 box in the environment and it can service the 2k03 ts servers no problem. 2k03 ts license servers can also service 2k ts servers, just not the other

I have a devloper who is running visual source safe and has had issues since day one logging in(to VSS). The app just uses its own internal db of users for auth, not AD. However the files reside on an ntfs share. Here's my confusion- I put this devloper into the domainadmins group as a test.
