Not knowing what your script does for sure, keep in mind that as objects are deleted they are first 'tombstoned' before being purged. Therefore the space initially used by the object prior to being deleted is not completely available for reuse a portion of it will continue to be consumed by the tom

This doesn't appear to be the cause based on how things appear to be looking, but if your DC's are Windows 2000, then another thing to check would be ACL's on objects. Those can cause sudden and noticeable database growth since inheritable ACL's will get copied to the child objects they apply to.
