If I understand your question 2 correctly, here's what you want to do: 1. Install windows NT4 on new hardware as a BDC. 2. Make the new box PDC. 3. Install win2k on new box. 4. Allow dcpromo to convert to DC. Viola! Your win2k server is now the DC for the NT4 domain. Obviously, you can't go
