We use RAID 10. 6 disks. 1 logical drive.
Our Dit is about 6GB. Provides fast read/write with fault
tolerance.

Last big DCs I was responsible for were
also RAID-10 w/ 6 spindles and asingle logical. I was quite pleased with
their perf.
