ALGOL for me was my first language (thank the Lord). ALGOL58. Using a B220
and later a B5000 (and much later B5500). Twas wonderful. Most cool. It
was a block structured language ahead of its time which put me ahead of my
time.

One supposes that if you make a list for a store of a different type, your
errand is halted with a compile-time fault?

Deb-
what was the previous server?
Windows nt 4.x IIS ?
Linux Apache?
BSD Tomcat?
it could have to do with the os, it could have to do with the server
software version. there are a lot of variables left from your description
it might be worth it for you to look at more aspects.

When I was in high school I wrote a cool little program in HP
Timesharing Basic that displayed large letters on paper tape. It was a
real hit, all the kids were using it. =)

have a plotting routine that uses the GD module to produce a graphic, then
display it in a web page. Since we replaced our server (now Windows_NT, with IIS/6.0),
this routine does not work. In fact, a file just consisting of “use GD;”
results in a CGI Error with no helpful output. Oddl
