Deb- what was the previous server? Windows nt 4.x IIS ? Linux Apache? BSD Tomcat? it could have to do with the os, it could have to do with the server software version. there are a lot of variables left from your description it might be worth it for you to look at more aspects. r

I have a plotting routine that uses the GD module to produce a graphic, then display it in a web page.  Since we replaced our server (now Windows_NT, with IIS/6.0), this routine does not work.  In fact, a file just consisting of “use GD;” results in a CGI Error with no helpful output.  Oddl
