Hi everyone!
A easy question!
I got a new profile in our domain.
And all my link in IE have been deleted. And we don?t backup IE Links.
So I wonder. What is the address to the TSM FTP Site?
ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com or how was the address.
Many Thanks

Hi Craig,
Are you not looking at the System object paret of the backup???
The System object backup takes each file in the system/system32 and backs
it up during incremental backup - irrespective of the fact that the file has
not
changed.
That is all I can think of to cause this type of
I never read anywhere that the server version makes a difference. The
client version definitely makes a difference!

A good temporary workaround for those intermittent stops is to have Win2K
restart the service automatically.
Open control panel - admin tools - SERVICES
Right click on the TSM scheduler service, select PROPERTIES, then RECOVERY.
Set first and second failure to RESTART THE SERVICE.
Set RESET FAIL

Have you verified the status of the diskpool volumes? If all volumes are
read-only or the storage pool is read-only, NEXTstgpool parameter will be
honoured and next (tape) pool will be used.

The root cause of having 80% and P is default. It true as per your e mail. You
have found the right solution. Another solution is try crush as temporary

All,
Has anyone seen a problem during backup when TSM doesn't install the
Open file Agent but does install something that you can only see
through the Setup Wizard? I have 2 Windows 2000 machines with 5.2.0.1
where it tries to do an image backup of the filesystem even though I
haven't installed

Yes, this was done many times by many people on this list and I have done
it too.
I would guess you are trying to mimic the behavior of so called media

Juraj,
have you tried `upd stg RECLAIMTPDB crcd=y`? It also might be worth to
enable it for few days on tape pool as well.
Note: it might slow down your operations and LTO is sensitive to this!

TSM for SAN is a separate cpu based license at v5.1. You pay based on
the number of cpus in the boxes where you install the storage agents.
