Hello,
again, I've a question regarding drive encryption. Our environment:
TSM Server 5.4.1.2 (AIX 5.3)
TS3500 tape library with 3592 Drives
In the next time, our old 3592 Drives will be replaced with newer one
(3592) which have the hardware drive encryption capability.
Our plan is to use the
Boris,
Library managed encryption is controlled by the TS3500 library
communicating with the Encryption Key Manager application and TSM has no

Hi Bill,
Sometimes I had the same problem, but after a reboot the folder is away.
I think some uninstall information is kept in this folder.
After a reboot of the w2k3 server you can continue the installation of the new
client version.
But why don´t you install the new version 5.5.0.3 ? Is

dear all,
we're running AFS and do the backup with BUTA :-)
actually the BUTA-node is collocated, so the backup and migration is
done by just one process, which causes large duration.
how can I speed up?
my guess is to define an extra BUTA disc / tape pool where only the BUTA
node is backuped

clients backing up to the 5.5 server; these successfully backed up tot he
TSM 5.3 server.
Below is an example of the type of errors we are seeing after
It is basic, but after you commented out the include.image statement,
did you restart the scheduler?
Is the Client still associated to an image backup schedule?
