My TSM DB and Logs are on SAN disks.

tape that is offsite. The process (migration Job) continues after 60 minutes or
so and starts writing to another tape.
Is there a way I can tell that job to skip a tape once I determine that the
tape is offsite.

Has anyone done something like that?
I am looking at the LAST_WRITE_DATE on the volumes but I am not sure if that
is the right place to look.

TSM database doesn't know about it. Two, if a backupset was made using
"GENERATE BACKUPSET", the client can restore the data directly from the
tapes the data was written to.
