Gerald,
I am glad you asked this question as I was thinking of posting a similar
question myself.
Here is our configuration:
IBM F50 4-way
AIX 4.3.3 ML 11
1 GB RAM
Overland Neo 4000 library with 4 Seagate LTO-1 drives, hardware compression
on 2 6205 Ultra2 SCSI Interface cards (2 drives per/port
Hello All,
We are running an F50, AIX 4330-ML11 with ITSM 5.1.5.4 with scsi LTO-1
drives and library.
The drives and library are connected using a couple of FC 6205 Ultra2 SCSI
cards.
Questions: Are the default (what AIX chooses after installing the card)
settings for this card okay?
Hello Again,
Before this thread gets away from me, let me say a few things.
1. From the email postings to this group it appears that the IBM LTO drive
is what most people use if they are using LTO. I understand that IBM makes
a fine product and it gives me warm and fuzzies if I had a chance to
have been your experiences?
My only hangup is that it uses the Seagate LTO. I have not heard anything
about this one as most of this list seems to have the IBM LTO.
I welcome your thoughts.

Hello All,
Does anyone out there routinely use the Immediate Client Actions
utility? I have never gotten it to work for me. And by work, I mean that
I set up some action that i want to happen immediately and I add it. In my
mind, as soon as I hit the add button, that action should start.
