You can try by making the stgpools itself readonly. Backup will fail,
but restore is possible.
Make sure you migrate before making the tape stgpool readonly ;-)
maxnummp=0 will not help, then you can backup to disk, but can't
restore from tape.
- Update all primary stgpools to readonly
- backup
in a
stgpool has the same retention, you don't need to run space reclaim
too.

Need to archive 50tb of data with millions of files, here is the caveat, tsm
db at 220gb, planning on upgrading from 5.5 to 6.2 in the near future, but
currently waiting for newer hardware
Check out:
set sqldisplaymode wide|narrow
All the sql output from 5.5 scripts need to be checked and corrected
in version 6.

You cannot checkout a tape that is still in a tapedrive... So, do a unmount,
wait a couple of minutes and then do the checkout.
