Sharing the volumes out using a script may work but it is still prone to 'human' error. You need to define each of the libraries on each TSM servers to have separate scratch and private categories. For example : Library 1 definition : Library Name Library DevicePrivate

Thanks for your comments Joerg Yes we did have enough scratch tapes available at the time and yes we did have a next migration storage pool. Even though migration threshold exceeded 70% query process did not show any migration occurring. Definitely a weird one. Thanks for your help
