Hi Mike;
I am working on the exact same setup you are. I still have not got RMAN to work with
the v5.2 TDP client - however, I do have the password portion working properly.
I put everything in the same dsm.sys file, and then created separate dsm.opt files for
each node. I've attached the

I tried setting up an archive copy group for just this filesystem, however,

Hi All;
We are encountering issues while attempting to get our Oracle 920 databases to
backup to a TSM 5162 server using a TSM 5158 API client, TDP 515, AIX 513 w/ 64 bit
kernal. Also, we had no previous trouble getting the 920 databases to backup using a
32 bit kernal on AIX513.
I just noticed late last night that the formatting of the TSM Server's help menus
are all messed up.
Doesn't matter if I go through the GUI or the CLI, I get the following:
tsm: C2TSMSERVhelp upd stg
UPDATE STGPOOL|
My LANG variable was set to en_US in both the ...api/bin directory as well as for
user:oracle.
We were able to backup RMAN to disk successfully.
As this is a new (replacement server) for one of our SP nodes, I copied the license
file from this SP node onto the new server and then

then.

Thanks to everyone for thier responses and help.
Due to the version of TSM we're running (415) I did have to change my decvonfig to
