I'm using TSM since ADSM v.2,
now I've got two v5 and one v7. I'm thinking about migration/downgrade
to old v5.
Fast, reliable, easy to install/upgrade, light. Without ISC just a dream.

Hi,
check if your drives need cleaning.
Dirty drives are the cause of unavailable tapes.

vice id is assigned at hardware scan time by aix as the
various system buses are scanned and are not based on drive WWN.

Old server and library are going out.
We bought new LTO library and new control workstation.
So I have to install new server running TSM 5.2 on new machine, and

since few days I've got messages:
ANR1401W Mount request denied for volume E003 - mount failed.
but DEVCLASS is configured correctly - everything was working fine for months,
volume isn't in error state
all drives are on-line
any ideas?
