Again me .
i inserted 20 vols. ACSLS labels volumes.
issued command
checkin libvol stk9710 search=yes status=scratch checklabel=barcode
all scratch volumes including the volumes used by other volumes checked in as
a scratch.
TSM started writing data on Thise volumes.
i want to remove v
I would like to know what is the standard setting for deleting the
volhistory. Particularly if you perform a daily dbbackup how many copies is
normally kept without becoming excessive.

Try specfying the full pathname of the list file,... inyour case /vol.log if
you use just v

The data will be backed up once again by TSM. If you do a delete volume on
the primary, the references to t
