Ok, so it looks like the server is Netware 6, not 6.5? Have they tried
installing sp5? If it's Netware 6, have you tried using tsa600.nlm
rather than tsafs? There's also a command you can put in the dsm.opt
file that might help

Netware 6 server, NSS modules have been updated.
Yet, when we try backup the 8+ Gbyte files we end up backing up the

there is something using a 32 bit integer (4 Gbyte limit = 4
Per the client release readme, only NSS volumes will backup files larger
than 4GB. If it is a NSS volume, not TFS, then I would check to make
sure you've got all the newest novell patch levels, besides just the
newest TSM client. In particular, do you have sp5, and all the newest
NSS/SMS patches.
We have a Netware server here that has large 8 GB files on it. The
backup backs up only the first 4 Gbytes of the file. The Netware guys
just installed the latest patches, we are running TSM client 5.2.2.9.
Any ideas out there any help would be most appreciated.

The cluster off switch tells the TSAs that your backup software is not cluster-aware.
That is, it isn't cluster-aware in terms of using NetWare's TSA calls to back up the
cluster. Without the /cluster=off switch, querying the server via the TSA will return

I have a server that I am trying to load DSMCAD.NLM version

Thanks, Peter
We had to specify a different HTTPPort (in our case 1583) in
