You can't overwrite an active registry. Two options:
1. Step 1 should be to install NT and TSM to non-standard directories.
That way you can restore the registry.
2. Restore the c:\adsm.sys directory tree, then boot with an NTFS aware
diskette, and copy the directory files back to
