We setup OAuth 2.0 for our API access a couple months back, and you should
not need to link the client account to your MCC account. That being said,
we had a login for the client account that we were able to use to grant the
API access when prompted by OAuth.
The way OAuth works is
Not sure why there's not any better options for tracking the performance of
PLA's via the AdWords Reporting API as of yet, but it would be an immense
help if there was an easier way to get the data.
Really hoping that you guys put something out soon to help us with the PLA's
