As I think Mike pointed out, it’s an IRR thing. Which I believe is optional but recommended. When you ask your upstreams to modify their BGP filters so you can advertise that netblock, they may balk if the IRR doesn’t show it’s a valid advertisement. I’m not really an IRR expert. For all I k
