Anything commercial has to pop crap up now and then to make sure you
remember why you pay for it. Anything free has to pop crap up now and
then to convince you to buy something.
Windows Defender quietly updates itself and runs in the background
without pestering me. Therefore I use that
Malwarebytes is about the only thing I trust
if you have windows it comes with a free anti virus
the best thing is to use Chrome OS
Ubuntu is less likely to get a virus unless you're targeted
or go MAC
Basically, use anything but windows if you don't want a virus
