It isn't a technicality, it is a matter of location. If installing in a
cabinet where there might be a couple of feet between the entrance and the

Some surges come in via other routes, most often the power line. So you want
to stop those before they hit the equipment. Makes more sense when you have a
coax surge arrestor on the outside of the building and an AC surge suppressor
on the power input of the same system. A bit redundant when

Have done it all the time and never even turned sync off. We have
pulled almost all PTP230's from network and updated too PTP450's
though. Make sure your syncinjector is powered on 24 volt though.

This type of thing tends to be a marketing positive for us. They leave,

That's interesting. The 900mhz noise floor at this location is very loud.
State lottery uses a 900mhz MDS radio that is right across the street. We
are planning to relocate the GPS antenna to the opposite side of the
building next week.

I’ve seen this happen when the puck isn’t horizontal. I think that’s why they
made the new ePMP antennas lock that puck in the top so it either doesn’t fall
off or the tower climber sticks in to the side of something.
Puck must be horizontal at all times.
