Same issue here. Scanning all them DFS frequencies eat at your time. Our
templates scan 5.1 and 5.7, it's like 20% of the time.

Cutting unnecessary stuff out of the scan list does help, but beyond that I
haven't been able to find anything that makes much difference. It seems
like it takes longer when you have a weak signal... I kind of wonder if
that's by design to keep them from connecting to the wrong AP to quickly.

Reducing the channels and bandwidth has sped it up for us immensely.
Shouldn't take that long to register, enough that you could definitely find
it in a foggy day.

Epmp, is it just slow? I set a low minimum snr, 4, low minimum rssi, 90. I
pare the scan list sometimes clear down to one channel.
