for comments regarding an unbiased estimator of variance givenN sample
valueswith associated weights.And a special thanksto Colin
Daly who took the time to write out a very nice mathematical
demonstrationof an unbiased estimator.
to me. Can anyone explain the theoretical
basis or statistical model that might give some validity to this equation?

1. If the individual block estimates are to be used for actual selection at
the time of mining, then conditional bias will impact the predicted
recoveries and should be minimized.
