this Road AT-8022, is it an Xlr or an USB mic.
I ask because on Accessible Youtube a guy was doing rather nice outdoor
recordings in a city in America, and I've heard Neil say that he has the
same mic, though I rather think he has a USB type.

It's an Audio-Technica. That's why the AT. It's a stereo mic so it's
actually 2 XLRs that would go into the H6 or F8N in your case. Now you'd
have to stereo link them like I told you on the H6 and however you
stereo link on the F8N or any of the F recorders. It also comes with a
little mini XLR

Ah cause this mic is also for mounting on a DSLR. OR like I said it's to
give you the option to use it with somethign like Gena's H1N which
doesn't have XLRs. But don't worry about that little cable if you don't
