you can delete some audio from the start or end of the audio as follows:
I'm assuming that the track is selected, which it is by default if you open or
import a file.
To delete at the start of the track:
1. Press spacebar to start playback.
2. Press X at the start time of the audio whic

I'll give you an outline of how to do the task you gave, and also details of
the Audacity4Blind mailing list.
You want some audio, audio2, to start about 18 seconds after the start of some
other audio, audio1.
After opening Audacity:
1. On the File menu, open the import sub menu, and
e now so may as well go install and give it a trial run .
