[2.4.23]
I've been chasing a capture dropout in the old OSS cs46xx driver
(drivers/sound/cs46xx.c) for the past two months (evenings and weekends),

Basically, after configure, make only patches some files and does not

Hello everyone,
I've recently switched to the 2.6.x kernel and I've decided to
switch to ALSA too.
I've enabled ALSA into the kernel *without* OSS emulation and
I've began to manage to get things works.
Now I can say that everything works with the exception of sfxload

Hi,
I added a new interface to ALSA 1.0.2 for handling the SoundFont file
without OSS sequencer emulation. The latest awesfx package,
ver.0.5.0, includes a new program "asfxload" for that. As you imagine
easily, it's the ALSA-native sfxload program.
It works just like sfxload but loads via ALSA

Hi,
sorry if this is not the right place to ask, but on alsa-users noone could help me...
recently I have discovered that all kind of external inputs
(stereo inputs) on my SBLive (with 4 analog speakers) works,
but their sounds (analog cd, mic, line-in) can be hear only
on the front channels.

The current tree from kernel.org claims in linux/include/sound/version.h
that only Alsa 0.9.7 is integrated. Is that correct?
