that alsa-oss was covered in
the alsa-driver code. If the first three are working then is alsa-oss needed?

Haven't seen mention of this lately. I the sblive audigy working well with
the emu10k1 driver now? If so, does it also work with the live drive? Will

This may be a one shot deal so I e-mailed so I wouldn't le

Alsa then compiled with no problem with rule definitions. It still wont
compile the utilities because it bombs on alsactl as per my earlier
post.

Alsa
I just updated all my alsa files off of cvs tonite (10pm pdt) and tried
to compile. The drivers and lib compiled fine, but when I got to utils,
it still bombs out as follows:
