Ok. I've been at this problem for a week now, and no go.
I'm compiling with kernel 2.4.17 patched with the latency fix,
and alasa-driver/lib/utils-0.5.8
I keep getting:
init.c: In function 'snd_register_ioport_Rsmp_96ac88a':
init.c:285: structure has no member named 'res'
Dang...
What about USB and Interrupts ?
I had to turn off my USB support...
cd /proc
cat interrupts
-AEF

Hello,
I am using alsa 0.9.0beta 11. I installed all the modules, libs, tools etc

volume channels seem to do nothing. Thus, I am only able to ch

Hello.
When I start Muse (a midi sequenser) I get
ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:597:(snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p failed:
Åtkomst nekas ("Åtkomst nekas" meens "Access denied")
I don't seem to be able to play sound with ALSA (only the OSS
compatibility seem to work)
I use alsa 0.9beta10, sound
