Blame it on being a newbie, but I am quite irritated by this thingy. I
*think* it is set up properly, but am not quite sure how to test it.
Anyway, it's set up on an IBM thinkpad 390. I followed the instructions
for installing on the alsa-project.org website, and it's showing up on
usbview, so se
my guess is it's an 'analog devices' chip, (ie, AD),
your best bet is to open up your computer and look
for this chip on your motherboard and get the exact
model number, (or look for a manual or something)
