If you have "SB Live 5.1 Digital" model SB0220 (alias (c) 2003) with
STAC9758 AC97 codec use CVS version of ALSA or wait to alsa 1.0.5
(which should contain support for this card).

On my older SB Live 1024 all 4 channels played good.

I just tried to set up 5.1 support for newer SB Live 5.1 card.
Front, lfe, and central speakers works fine with full support in
alsamixer and others.
The rear speakers still keep silent.
