I'm messing around with that problem for a while and I guess some help is needed here :( Running a stock but uptodate ubuntu 5.10 (kernel Linux version 2.6.12-10-686 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 3.4.5 20050809 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 3.4.4-6ubuntu8.1)) with alsa 1.0.9a on a  Shuttle Zen  ST62
