I would like to record the output of a first soundcard.
This is for recording a softphone. I really need a clean solution.
I tried the file plugin, but did not find how to listen live to the
output. Is there a solution to record audio loopback cleanly and listent

kernel 2.6.17 or 2.6.18 and built in Alsa modules.
One Thinkpad i1200 has always, for two years now, worked out-of-the-box very

It would be helpful (and encouraging) to know if anyone has Alsa working
under uCLinux. If it's running on a commerically available board, I'd
