We have a Dell Latitude D520, using Ubuntu Gutsy and we updated Alsa to
1.0.15.
We have a problem: arecord hangs and writes 44 bytes. Using strace we
see that arecord hangs here:

be solved by users or developers. Also I am not too lazy to do a little
