Is the module snd_hda_intel broken for 2.6.29.1 ?
Am I supposed to use now the parameter model and if, which value ?

I figured it was a bit off topic, so I responded directly to the poster.
However, if you want my 2 cents, I think for two channel recording, you
are far better off just buying a digital recorder. Pull the memory card
and read it to the computer for editing.
