at mixers (amixer and alsamixer), I can't find anything muted.
I have attached amixer output as a text file.
Can anyone help me debug this?

That looks to me like either the 'sound.wav' file was 8bit mono, etc, or
that sound.wav wasn't actually present

the back mic, maybe it is blocking the front mic
from being used (overriding it).
I have only one mic. :)
I'm told to experiment changing parameters to hda-intel module,
especially trying every possible model such as
model=3stack-6ch-dig, what do you think of that?
