envy24_nfrags to 8 I'm no longer getting any dropouts. I was getting

anything else and now I can see irq10 in /proc/interrupts reserved
for it. Altough I still have the same problem. My bios setting
for latency is set to 32 so I'm wondering why it's settings 64

I just bought an audiophile 2496 card to replace my
ensoniq 1371 card.
I loaded the alsa 0.9beta12 drivers succesfully, but
when I play some audio I get drop-outs every 30 seconds
or so, the audio seems to quickly fade-out/fade-in.
I think it becomes worse if the harddisk or CPU is busy
