[Alsa-user] What distribution fits best?

Hi, What distribution would you recommend enabling me to have a troubleless alsa-driver installation? I currently run Mandrake 9.1, with a Yamaha YMF744 soundcard chip. I'm fed up to fight with my monitor for having the alsa driver working properly... which is not the case... :-) Best
