i have redhat 7.3 with alsa 0.9 and i run a terratec
ews88mt/ice1712/envy24 as pci-soundcard(the analog devices are not
working yet, but that is another problem...) and the midisport 8x8 as an
usb midi-interface
and i do not get the midi interface to work. would could i have done
wrong ? i thing t

midiman delta-series). i installed all the alsa-stuff with apt-get (of
PlanetCCRMA) and the digital i/o (and midi) started working perfect.
