I want to use alsa with my terratec dmx 6fire 24/96 for
multitrack-recording. I installed (suse 7.3)
alsa-driver-0.9.3c,
alsa-lib-0.9.3,
alsa-tools-0.9.3,
alsa-utils-0.9.3 and
alsa-oss-0.9.1
I recorded a sample with arecord test.wav
(Recording WAVE 'test.wav' : Unsigned 8 bit,

maybe you have two channes each control...
you could try to mute the right hw0 and the left hw1
with the monitor-mixer and it should be stereo.

can anyone tell me how to record a sound via frontbox and microphone
with the dmx6fire and the new alsa-rc5? Unfortunately I have not found
