[Alsa-user] oss emulation and audio routing

i've install the latest alsa mods on my suse 7.0 system (kernel 2.4.18) and have working sound. i would like to use oss applications but they complain about no /dev/dsp (it is there however) what wrong? this is what a lsmod gives me: Module Size Used by snd-seq

i have a sb live 5.1 and would like to use all 6 analog channels out. i can get rear and front channels working with latest alsa but no center/lfe. i also tried the emu10k1 driver v0.19a with no success (still no center even after switching to analog mode using emu-config -a)   any help would

i have an intel m/board with integrated sound but am having trouble get it to work . i'm using suse 7.0 with a 2,4,18 kernel. the modules load and kmix opens but i hear no sound. the snd-pcm-oss module loads too (i dont have the snd-pcm1-oss module, was not made). i'm using alsa drive 0.9.0b
