I would love to help. I have a few machines running
Hammerfall cards, two through the ADAT outs, and one
using S/PDIF, though I have not had any issues in
either case since ALSA 0.9beta11 or so. And the fact
that you are getting sound from some apps and in some
formats and not others
I know I have asked this before, and before that, but I have seen no
answer. I am running 0.9.0rc3, but the same was true on all previous
versions:
I can use timidity to play MIDI files, and mpg123 to hear MP3. Aplay
works for mono files at 44100 Hz.
But stereo files are silent. They tak
