Hi, I just finished compiling the 2.6.1-mm2 kernel in order to get sound and ethernet support for my nforce2 motherboard (shuttle an35n-ultra). After reading everything I could find on the web and in the mailing list archives I realized I had to use the snd_intel8x0 module, install alsa-lib-1.0.1
