I have 17 ~50G tapes... I also have approximately 50G to backup. I want to keep a reasonable Monthly archive as far back as possible as well as a Weekly archive in addition to the Daily dumps. Being new to amanda, I would like some feedback on my plan (or suggestions, tips, recommendations etc.

Spectra Logic Treefrog configuration

Anyone setup a Spectra Logic Treefrog on Solaris before? I can't determine where's the right device for the variable "chagerdev" in chg-scsi-solaris changer file. Please help. I tried to run amcheck without changerdev specified, and it returned with changer error. Mark
