Lets say i have /home/test folder being backed up by amanda
as i have mentioned in the disklist file. Now if i have to
exclude some files(not to backup )from the /home/test folder how do i do
that.

I have two firewire drives to use as the backup media. I want the
data mirrored on the two drives in case one of them happens to fail.
I was able to get a simple file: setup working. Now I am trying to
mix in RAIT to achieve the mirroring effect. It isn't quite working,

output:
AMANDA: FILE 20040818 cvs.yadayada.com /etc lev 1 comp"N program /bin/gtar
To restore,"position tape at start of file and run:
dd if="bs=32k skipĀ½1"| /bin/g

it has 26 slots and 2 drives.
How do I configure 2 drives in tape library using Amanda ? What files do I need to

The problem isn't amanda, its with dump (and Linus' hate of the program!)
nocomp doesn't make a difference, apart from using more tape to store
the results.
your could make sure you use a 'dump-type' that specifies to use tar
with no issues..with or without compression.
