Simply re-label that tape with the --force optio
Hello:
I was wondering if anyone can tell me a way to cheat amanda to override
the expected tape. I am still running in "test mode" and tonight I want
to run the backup but starting (re-use) with tape one.

So far I went to RR4's website looking for a "program list". It doesn't
have amanda installed.
Also, Frank Smith says that Knoppix DVD does have amanda but the CD doesn't.

Hello amanda users,
I'm confused as to why these dumps, where are late in to be
dumped today (there are 50 some entries in the disklist) are
not making use of the work area.
The current partition is only provide 10 Gig and the work area
is 67 Gig and is completely free.

Hello list:
Here is the scenario. Let say that the server that gets destroyed is the
tape server itself and we need a "bare metal" recovery. Now, we are
thinking about creating a "server restore" cd together which will have the
amanda client in it (and needed drivers).
Question, would it be pos
There is a diagram in the Amanda wiki that
shows how backup process works in Amanda.

There is information on how the ports used during backup
