I agree. I always build amanda myself. [ My package seems okay when I have ROOT build it and install it …. I don’t think I’ve changed anything to allow that to work. Hmm. I do remember reading that my amanda user (operator for me) was supposed to build it. ] A comment about the configure

How to restore from vault ?

Hi experts, I want to use S3 device as tertiary device for vaulting. Here is what I did: Backup to local disk device with amdump . Vault to S3 device with amvault this was done successfully. Now I want to force recover/restore from S3. Couldn't find how to do it, Can anyone tell me how to ?
